Human review

Check every AI-generated observation, recommendation, classification, property fact and conclusion against the inspection evidence and appropriate sources before use.

Provider configuration

Inspect uses BYO AI. Google Gemini is the recommended default and OpenAI is optional. The user’s API key is stored only in that browser/device and is supplied to the provider only when an AI feature is deliberately used.

Data minimisation

Send only the information needed for the requested task and avoid unnecessary personal or confidential data.
